Estate Planning Paralegal

Culp Elliott & Carpenter is seeking a top-notch and experienced Estate Planning and Estate Administration Paralegal with strong accounting skills. The successful candidate will possess significant experience in, or the willingness to learn all areas of estate planning and estate administration including preparation of estate and gift tax returns, preparation of wills and trust agreements, and estate and trust administration. Responsibilities include managing all areas of trust and estate administration with emphasis on: correspondence with clients, valuation of assets, maintaining and analyzing financial records, bill payment and balancing checkbooks. Candidate must have the ability to work closely with multiple individuals, competing priorities and tight deadlines. Must be able to work independently to manage and execute projects in an efficient and timely manner. Competencies should include excellent written and oral communication skills, experience with accounting and bookkeeping, strong proofreading skills, and the ability to pay strict attention to detail. Experience using Quickbooks and HotDocs will be helpful in this position. To be successful, the candidate must have the desire and capability to provide superior client service. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent paralegal experience required. Corporate Tax Attorney

Culp Elliott & Carpenter is seeking a Corporate Tax Attorney with demonstrated expertise in tax, estate planning and corporate law, including transactional and M&A work. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney with at least 2-4 year’s experience in entity formation and structuring, income tax planning, joint ventures and all aspects of working with high-net worth clients for tax and business planning.  LL.M. in Taxation is helpful but not necessary.  This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complicated tax issues and enjoys working with experienced and dedicated colleagues.
