The focus areas of Sydney Warren’s practice are estate planning, estate administration and the use of trusts, and she is well-versed in the related estate, gift, income and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. Sydney’s approach to wealth transfer issues is both creative and pragmatic.
She takes a personal interest in her clients and enjoys working with them to find practical and effective ways to address their personal, tax and business objectives.
Sydney served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert F. Chapman on the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She practiced estates and trusts law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia, prior to moving to Charlotte in 2002. Sydney joined Culp Elliott & Carpenter in 2011.
